In 2026, the Digitalisation Grant is the most effective way to fund a digital project in Brussels. It covers between 25% and 70% of your consultancy costs — website creation, process automation, ERP/CRM integration, cybersecurity or artificial intelligence.
The quick answer
Which grant funds a website or automation project for your SME in Brussels in 2026? The Digitalisation Grant. It reimburses 25–70% of your consultancy costs to create or improve a showcase site, an e-commerce store, or to automate your processes — with a cap of €10,000 per year for companies with an operating seat in the Brussels-Capital Region. Applications are filed online via the MonBEE platform.

Which projects are eligible?
The Digitalisation Grant covers far more than just building a website. Here are the most common consultancy assignments — all services we deliver at Botelho Solutions:
- Creating or rebuilding a showcase site and e-commerce store (design, development, technical SEO)
- Business process automation (n8n, Make, custom APIs) — follow-ups, reports, tool synchronisation
- ERP/CRM system integration and data-flow automation
- Artificial intelligence and AI agents: chatbots, qualification, support, productivity
- Cybersecurity: securing websites and protecting data
In practice, the grant can fund our process automation, website development for SMEs and AI agents services.
What is NOT eligible
- Recurring costs: domain names, hosting, monthly maintenance
- Buying IT hardware (computers, servers, peripherals)
- Software licences alone, without an associated consultancy assignment
- Any expense committed BEFORE the application is submitted
Eligibility conditions
To qualify for the grant, your company must:
- Have an operating seat in the Brussels-Capital Region (one of the 19 municipalities), registered with the CBE
- Have an economic and commercial purpose (non-profits are generally excluded, except approved social enterprises)
- Be up to date with annual accounts and have no uncontested tax or social debts
- Respect the de minimis ceilings (cumulative State aid)
The step-by-step process (MonBEE)
1. Prepare the file
Identify an eligible provider, obtain a detailed quote (services, max 6-month duration, cost excl./incl. VAT) and write a clear description of the project and its added value.
2. File the application online
All applications are filed exclusively on MonBEE, no later than the day before the assignment starts. Processing time: about 4 to 6 weeks.
3. Deliver and justify
Deliver the project within 6 months, then submit paid invoices, proof of payment and an execution report. Payment follows 4 to 8 weeks after validation.
Optimising your subsidy: the multi-year strategy
The €10,000/year cap and the 2-assignments/year limit allow a phased approach. Example: Year 1, build the showcase site; Year 2, add an e-commerce store; Year 3, integrate a CRM and automation. You maximise the total grant while smoothing the investment.
Choosing the right provider
The grant requires an external consultancy assignment delivered by a provider independent from your company. A partner who knows the scheme's requirements structures your project to maximise eligibility and secure the subsidy. That's exactly our role: we scope a compliant digitalisation project (website, automation, AI agents), draft a clear quote and description, and align everything with the MonBEE timeline.
